Pattern is missing some steps you have to get from the video. It does not include any info on how much yarn is needed for the basic pattern in any size. Photos are well done but could just use numbering so you know how to follow along. The video is great, don’t bother spending your money on the pattern.

I really loved making this pattern! I made this for the first time for my friend (pictured) and she also really loves it. I also appreciate that Kelsie made a video on her YouTube channel to provide extra guidance along with the written pattern. I do want to note that I did start to run out of yarn, so I only did two rows of a border and that I rushed through the decrease instructions when making the first sleeve, and didn’t realize until I was starting the other sleeve that I had made a mistake. I chose to just make the second sleeve the same as the first so they would match. I have already bought more yarn to start my second cardigan but for my sister this time! The cardigan pictured is in a size medium using premier puzzle yarn and made without any extra length added :) thank you Kelsie!

I LOVE this pattern! I have been knitting and crocheting my whole life, but I have always been too afraid to make anything wearable other than hats/scarves/socks because I didn't understand the construction of garments. The way this piece comes together helped several things click into place for me, and I was comfortable enough after the first sleeve to make changes on the second sleeve to fit my vision more (don't worry I'll go back and fix the first one!), and I am SO excited to further iterate on such a great foundation!

Kelsie’s granny hexagon cardigan has by far been the easiest to follow tutorial video on YouTube. I had to get the pattern! So far, I am about to start the sleeve on my first hexagon and the pattern does not disappoint! Very thorough with great pics for visual aids. The pattern is much more detailed than the og tutorial. Sizing chart has been life saver! Definitely recommend getting the pattern if you want to make your own granny hexagon cardi!

Im having so much fun working on this. I had to re-start so many times because I'm new and either read the pattern wrong or just made simple beginner mistakes like using the wrong hook size.
